I had the pleasure of attending the Kiswa Arts and Culture Gallery Exhibition at St Lawrence Academy on the 21st of August 2025. Accompanied by community curator Kathleen Spence from North Lancashire Museum, I was able to spend considerable time engaging with the many artefacts on display

Listening to Hafiz Yusuf’s in-depth narrative throughout the event offered not only a fascinating historical perspective but also a profound spiritual insight into where these artefacts come from and the significance they carry both physically and spiritually

The exhibition was a remarkable showcase of art, culture, and heritage, and I was deeply moved by the care and dedication behind it. I extend my full support to the vision of the Kiswa Arts and Culture Gallery and commend its role in fostering understanding and appreciation across communities
