Bradford, 22nd February 2025 – Councillor Aneela Ahmed attended the prestigious Kiswat Al-Kaaba exhibition at Bradford City Hall alongside Dr Sofia Buncy MBE DL and civic leader Richard. Together, they viewed the sacred artefacts from the Holy Kaaba and Madinah Al-Sharifah, immersing themselves in centuries of Islamic history and craftsmanship

Cllr Ahmed expressed deep admiration for the exhibition’s message of unity, cultural pride, and education. Her presence, alongside influential figures in interfaith and community work, reinforced the exhibition’s importance in preserving Islamic heritage and using it as a tool for community empowerment and cultural understanding
