Cllr Faraz Ahmad and Cllr Ruby Anwar attended the powerful Kiswat Al Kaaba Exhibition held at Best Light Community Hub, where sacred artefacts from the Holy Kaaba and Madinah were displayed to the public in a celebration of heritage, unity, and education

Both councillors were deeply impressed by the exhibition’s content, presentation, and its ability to bring together diverse members of the community through shared understanding and cultural dialogue. Feedback from both councillors was overwhelmingly positive, with strong emphasis on how events like this empower communities and promote interfaith harmony.
“This is not just about artefacts—it’s about identity, understanding, and community building,” said Cllr Faraz Ahmad. Cllr Ruby Anwar echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of cultural exhibitions in shaping an inclusive and educated society

The event showcased authentic Kiswa pieces from the Holy Kaaba and the Rawdah of Madinah Al-Munawwarah, drawing widespread attention and admiration from local families, educators, and faith leaders.
Organisers emphasised that the exhibition is part of a national initiative aimed at establishing the first Kiswa Arts and Culture Gallery in the UK—an educational hub envisioned to benefit thousands of learners, researchers, and communities for generations to come

By fostering cultural dialogue and mutual respect, the exhibition continues to spark meaningful conversations around heritage, faith, and unity across the UK
