Deputy Lord Mayor
Kiswa Arts and Culture Gallery proudly displayed rare Islamic artefacts for the public to view. We were humbled and honoured to welcome over 2,000 attendees, along with Bradford’s prestigious councillors, the Lord Mayor, Deputy Lord Mayor, and former Lord Mayor

Here are some kind words from Fozia Shaheen, Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford, sharing her thoughts about our event :
“An absolute honour to attend the Kiswah Arts and Culture Exhibition at Cartwright Hall Gallery

The beautiful artefacts on display were awe-inspiring and spiritually uplifting, offering a rare glimpse into the sacred Kiswah of the Holy Kaaba. For me personally, it was a deeply spiritual moment to stand before something so closely connected to Makkah and to feel that connection here in Bradford was truly humbling

The heartfelt introduction from the Kiswa Arts and Culture team, along with the presence of Sheikh Saab, Kassam Bhai and the powerful recitation by his Hafiz sons, made the experience even more profound. Their words and recitation carried a depth that touched the soul

To have such a remarkable exhibition here in our city is a blessing a chance for our community to connect with heritage, spirituality, and unity in such a meaningful way

Allhamdulilah
