Lord Javed Akhtar
Masjid Usman Khaliliya, Bradford – Kiswat Al Kaaba Exhibition

We are deeply grateful to Lord Javed Akhtar for attending the Kiswat Al Kaaba Exhibition in Bradford on Saturday, 12th April 2025. His genuine passion for Islamic heritage was clear as he engaged closely with the sacred artefacts, especially while holding the Rawdah key and exploring the exhibit with Sheikh Ilyas and Hafiz Yusuf

Though no formal speech was given, his presence spoke volumes. He warmly connected with dignitaries, supported the gallery vision, and is already helping us open new doors—including future partnerships such as Leeds Trinity University

We look forward to working closely with him on upcoming heritage projects, inshaAllah.

Here are are lovely words sent to us by Mr Javed Aktar:

"I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to attend the Islamic Kiswat-
Al-Kabba Exhibition in Bradford on Saturday 12th April 2025. It was an honour to be part of such a
remarkable event.
The exhibition was presented with exceptional professionalism and care. The displays, particularly
those featuring artifacts from Makkah and Madinah that are 705 years old, were truly fascinating and
educational. It was evident that a great deal of effort and dedication went into ensuring the success of
this exhibition.
Thank you once again for the invitation and for organizing such a meaningful and inspiring event by
Sheikh Ilyas Malik and the staff of Masjid E Usman."
