Israr Raja - Best Light Community Hub
Director of LightBeam Academy
Assalamu Alaykum Dear Yusuf and the Kiswat al Kaaba team
On behalf of everyone at LightBeam Academy, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the inspiring event hosted in Nelson on Saturday 5th July, by Kiswat Al Kaaba
Alhamdulillah, it was a truly uplifting day - one that continues to resonate with all who attended. The exhibition was thoughtfully designed and presented with great care, showcasing both beauty and depth, while also carrying immense cultural, historical, and spiritual significance. It allowed our community to connect with the rich legacy of Makkah and Madinah, and offered a rare opportunity for young people, families, and elders to engage meaningfully with Islamic heritage in an accessible and memorable way
The turnout was in the thousands, with attendees travelling from across Burnley, Pendle, and beyond to take part. Events like these remind us of the unifying power of shared identity, heritage, and storytelling. They create spaces where communities can come together, learn, reflect, and celebrate in a way that is inclusive, enriching, and meaningful to all ages
We believe this initiative holds national importance, offering a strong example of how cultural heritage can be presented with dignity and creativity. It has the potential to inspire communities far and wide.
We fully support your continued efforts and pray that your work is received with the recognition and backing it truly deserves
With sincere appreciation
