History Was Made in Dewsbury....
On 6th November 2024, Masjid Al Heera in Dewsbury became part of history
For the very first time ever in the UK, the sacred Kiswa (cloth) of the Holy Kaaba — alongside artefacts from the blessed Rawdah of Madinah — was showcased right here, in the heart of our local community
This wasn't just an exhibition… it was an unforgettable moment of history, heritage, and heart.
Men, women, and children from all walks of life gathered at Masjid Al-Heera to witness something generations before us never had the chance to see so closely — the very cloth that once covered the House of Allah in Makkah, and pieces from the Rawdah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Madinah
From that day, a spark was lit.
