The Significance of the Rawdah
The Rawdah is one of the most honoured and spiritually significant places within Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah. It is closely connected to the blessed resting place of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and holds an exceptional place in the hearts of Muslims around the world.
Throughout Islamic history, specially commissioned textiles were produced to adorn and protect sacred areas associated with the Two Holy Mosques.
