Tiger Oud takes its name from the distinctive appearance of the wood, where darker resin-rich veins run through the lighter agarwood grain, creating beautiful natural markings reminiscent of tiger stripes
 
Borneo is well known for agarwood with a deep yet refined aromatic character. As resin develops within the agarwood tree, sections of the wood become darker and increasingly fragrant. These resin-rich portions are then harvested, dried and carefully selected before being prepared as woodchips for traditional oud burning
 
Every piece is naturally different, so variations in colour, size, grain, shape and resin concentration are completely normal

Once ready, place a small piece of Tiger Oud onto the hot charcoal.
As the wood heats, the natural resin begins to release its aromatic fragrance and smoke.
Only a small piece is required at a time. Resin-rich agarwood can produce a strong fragrance from a relatively small amount.
For a smoother aroma, allow the oud to heat slowly rather than burn aggressively.
Tiger Oud can also be used with a suitable electric oud burner for gentler, controlled heating.
