EDEN GIRLS LEADERSHIP ACADEMY BIRMINGHAM SETS A NATIONAL BENCHMARK IN HERITAGE EDUCATION
Sunday 13th July 2025 – Birmingham
In a ground-breaking collaboration between Eden Girls Leadership Academy Birmingham and the Kiswat al-Kaaba Exhibition, history and spirituality were woven into an educational experience that is already being seen as a model for leadership academies and educational hubs nationwide
The event showcased over 60 rare Islamic artefacts, including pieces from the Holy Kaaba and the Riyadul Jannah — some dating back over 700 years. What set this exhibition apart was not only the artefacts themselves but the narrative-led, age-tailored walkthroughs delivered to inspire students, staff, and guests alike. From scholars to young learners, each individual walked away with more than knowledge — they walked away with a sense of spiritual connection and cultural pride
The exhibition was not a one-off event. It signalled the start of a long-term partnership, as the bridge between Kiswat al-Kaaba and Eden Girls Leadership Academy was firmly established. It proved how values-driven leadership and authentic Islamic heritage can combine to deliver transformative educational experiences
Principal Saleh Islam, Sister Gufrana, the Business Development Manager, and the wider managerial and volunteer teams were instrumental in delivering a seamless event, offering an unparalleled standard of hospitality and coordination. Their commitment reflected the ethos of Eden Girls — combining excellence with humility, and leadership with service
The event also highlighted how schools can move beyond the classroom to deliver experiential learning rooted in identity, faith, and cultural literacy — all while inspiring students to become the next generation of leaders
“This event wasn’t just about artefacts. It was about planting seeds — of knowledge, connection, and spiritual growth,” said a representative from Kiswat al-Kaaba.
“Eden Girls showed what’s possible when leadership and vision align with heritage and purpose.”
As more educational institutions seek to connect young people with their faith and history in meaningful ways, Eden Girls Leadership Academy Birmingham has now set a powerful example. It is hoped this collaboration will pave the way for similar initiatives across the UK — opening new doors for cross-community enrichment, national awareness, and inspired learning
🙏 Dua & Dedication
May Allah SWT bless Eden Girls Leadership Academy and all its branches across the UK with continued growth, barakah, and excellence. May all those involved — from leadership to volunteers — be rewarded for their dedication to education, identity, and community
