Kiswat Al Kaaba Exhibition – Burnley’s Historic Day at Danehouse Community Centre

On a day that will be remembered for years to come, the Kiswat Al Kaaba Exhibition arrived in the heart of Burnley, hosted at Danehouse Community Centre — in what became a truly spiritual, record-breaking gathering for the local Muslim community

This unforgettable event was organised by Mufti Asad Waqaas Saheb and Hafiz Jamal, both humble and deeply dedicated servants of the Deen. May Allah SWT bless them with barakah in all aspects of life. Their sincere efforts, along with the unwavering support of Abu Bakr Trust’s management and community, made this day incredibly special

🕌 The Danehouse Community Centre was transformed into a hub of reflection, education, and connection — its spacious facilities comfortably welcoming hundreds of visitors. From exhibition tables to refreshments, local volunteers stepped up selflessly, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The love and unity felt throughout the day was powerful

🎖 Another highlight was the presence of Mayor Shah Hussain, whose attendance and heartfelt support added tremendous value to the occasion. His encouragement and engagement with the attendees truly uplifted the spirit of the event, and his presence was deeply appreciated by all

💫 What made this event so rare and unique? It wasn’t just an exhibition — it was a personalised spiritual journey for each visitor:

• 🧕 10am–1:30pm: Segregated session for sisters

• 🧕‍🕌 1:30pm–2pm: Special session for female scholars

• 👳 2pm–5pm: Brothers' session

• 🧑‍🏫 5pm–6pm: Session for male scholars and learners

Each walkthrough was tailored depending on the crowd, with volunteers passionately explaining the sacred history of the Kiswah, including priceless artifacts from the Kaaba and Rawdah of Madinah

This wasn’t just an event. It was a moment of pride for Burnley, reviving community spirit, inspiring hearts, and uplifting the Danehouse Community Centre as a beacon of faith and culture
